As detailed in the results of BLC’s CDL Toolkit Survey, many respondents were interested in gaining legal advice or understanding of the legal complexities of digital lending (particularly for CDL). Upon deeper reflection of our mission and position as a library consortium supporting a coalition of libraries in the northeastern United States, we came to the conclusion that it would not be appropriate for our organization to provide legal advice or services that would be better served by your local institutional or organizational counsel.
