Rice University

The Standish Library uses a combination of Springshare to intake reserve requests, Google Drive to host digital surrogates, and Ex Libris Primo as their discovery layer for CDL resources.

Fordham University

Fordham University Libraries developed code to automate Google Drive sharing while implementing many of the DRM-like features needed to align with CDL principles. Though the code is archived and no longer updated, it is open source and able to be freely adapted by libraries and developers to support localized needs.

 NYU Shanghai Library

Part of the NYU Global Network, the NYU Shanghai Library iteratively developed a solution using Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Apps Script to develop a course reserve workflows (see Appendix A of the article for detailed documentation).

Fenway Library Organization’s CDL for course reserves system adapts code from the NYU Shanghai Library, utilizing Google Drive and Apps Script. Their resources include their source code, high level workflows, and more technical documentation for setting up files and folders.
